Life Aligned By Design

Become authentically you with Visionary You

Women ache to have balance in every area of their lives. But by mid-life we realize that balanced as in “equal time & energy” for work, family, me-time, and homemaking is a myth.

Balance is that golden ring we try to grasp. And when we think we’ve finally figured it out and the ring is within reach, life happens. Everything shifts, and we’re not thinking “balance” anymore. We’re in “survival mode” in that area of life for awhile. Everything else is put on automatic pilot.

Or, we have a to-do list a mile long every day that sucks up all our energy and resources just to keep life moving forward, with no end in site.

Perhaps you know exactly what’s wrong, what you need to do, but you just don’t do it. And you don’t understand why. You’re motivated, willing, and able, but it’s not happening.

This is a step-by-step guide to aligning all the pieces you need for change, beginning by understanding yourself. Not who you were told you should be. Not who you had to become to survive or belong. But who you are underneath all of that. Who you were born to be.

This is an invitation to explore the spaces of your life, to reconnect with what matters to you, and to remember that caring for yourself is not selfish—it’s foundational.

Step 1: Discover Your Core Values

Your core values are the inner anchors that guide your choices. They shape what feels right, what drains you, and what lights you up. When you’ve spent years responding to other people’s needs, your values can blur or get overridden by expectations.

Uncover what truly matters to you, and uncover your authentic self.

core values clarity workbook

The first exercise in the workbook uses examples from the core values list to teach how to weigh each value to determine if it’s your personal value by how you feel and your actions. (This prevents adding “shoulds” to your list so you can find your authentic self.)

The second exercise contains 345+ core value words and then explains how to narrow down to your personal list and discover who you truly are at your core.

Step 2: Your Foundation of Core Beliefs

Our beliefs live beneath the surface of our daily lives, shaping how we interpret everything—our abilities, our worth, our options. Many of them formed long before we had the language to question them, often borrowed from family, culture, or survival moments.

Over time, these beliefs can feel like facts, even when they limit us. Bring those inner stories into the light, not to judge or dismantle yourself, but to notice what still fits and what no longer does.

When you understand the beliefs you’re carrying, change starts feeling possible.

#3. Setting Your Intentions

Intentions are NOT some mystical, magical way to “manifest” your wishes. They are a practical, science research-backed tool that help women live authentically, as their best selves.

Intention: a person’s aim, purpose, or plan.

Intentions are not goals. Goals are a future change that we are working towards. Setting intentions is a technique to laser-focus our attention and behaviors today so we will reach our goal. It guides how we show up today, within the realities of daily events.

Intentions are not affirmations. An affirmation is a belief-focused “I am” statement. “This is what I say is true about me (or what I’m training my brain to believe).” An intention is action-focused. “This is how I choose to show up and what I commit to doing.” Intentions aim your day; affirmations fuel your confidence to live it.
